Free diagnosis

Your site's diagnosis, offered free

A document of measured findings on your site: visibility, performance, security, compliance. Usable even without me.

I produce a full diagnosis of your site, hand it to you, and you do what you like with it — including giving it to another provider. That is written on the first page of the document.

This is not generosity, it is a way of working: I would rather a conversation start from measured facts than from a brochure.

What the document contains

Findings, each built the same way: what was measured, what it changes for you, what to do about it. Every point carries a label — critical, important, minor, or compliant.

What already works comes first. A document that only lists shortcomings reads as an indictment, and stops being believed before the end.

The sections vary with your activity, but most often include:

  • Visibility — what search engines actually see of your pages, and what AI engines see, which execute no JavaScript.
  • Business profile — presence, primary category, consistency between the profile and your site, reviews left unanswered. For a local business this is often the most profitable lever.
  • Off-site presence — whether your social accounts link back to the site, and whether the web can tell they refer to the same company.
  • Performance — the real weight of your pages and the wait a visitor faces on a phone, not on your desktop over fibre.
  • Protection of your domain name — who can send an email pretending to be you. Across eight construction companies I measured in the Nièvre, none was protected.
  • Compliance — cookie banner, legal notice, and above all the gap between what they announce and what the site actually does.
  • Accessibility and contrast — measured on the rendered pixel.

What this document is not

It is not a security audit. I run no intrusion test, no vulnerability scan, no search for weaknesses. Everything rests on what is public: your pages, your headers, your domain records, search engines.

Nor is it a disguised quote. Recommended actions are grouped by effort, never priced in days, and nothing obliges you to hand them to me.

The closing chapter states what was examined and what was not, with the reason.

How it works

You have nothing to provide: no access, no password, no preliminary meeting. I work from what is public.

You receive an online document and its printable PDF equivalent, readable offline. It is presented in your colours as much as in mine, and a button switches between the two.

If the findings call for a follow-up, I propose a redesign trajectory: what to rework, in what order, and what can wait. It is a proposal, not a condition.

Where I work

I am based in the Nièvre, near Cosne-sur-Loire, and I most often work across that area and the ones around it — the Nièvre, the Cher, the Yonne and the Loiret — as well as in Paris.

The diagnosis itself is done remotely: it depends on no proximity at all.

Requesting yours

Write to me with your site address. If your activity does not lend itself to the exercise, I will say so rather than produce an empty document.
