DJI Avata 360 — 8K 360° Cinematic Drone

The DJI Avata 360 is the drone we deploy for all immersive and cinematic aerial photography missions. Its two back-to-back 1/1.1-inch sensors cover a full 360° sphere with 8K/60fps HDR video and 120-megapixel stills — a resolution that puts it in a class of its own among professional drones.

Dual 1/1.1-inch sensors — full 360° with no blind spot

Photo and video sensors

Each sensor covers 200° through an f/1.9 lens, providing complete spherical coverage and high light sensitivity. Results:

• 8K 360° video at 24/30/60 fps in HDR
• 6K 360° video for optimised post-production workflows
• 120 MP stills at 15,520 × 7,760 px — ideal for virtual tours and heritage documentation
• ISO 100–12,800 in 8K, 100–25,600 in 6K

Integrated propeller guard

Unlike many FPV drones, the Avata 360 has a propeller guard built into the frame. This allows flying close to architectural elements, dense vegetation or moving subjects without risk of collision — a decisive advantage for filming in confined spaces.

8K HDR video delivers exceptional colour grading latitude. Combined with Spotlight Free mode and built-in stabilisation, the Avata 360 produces smooth, immersive sequences — ideal for communication campaigns, tourism promotion or event coverage.

Heritage and architectural documentation

360° vision with no blind spot is invaluable for documenting historical monuments, historic buildings or listed sites. A single flight session can capture a complete building from every angle.
